Bangalore: Madras Engineering Group (MEG) secured a dramatic, narrow victory over Vijaya Bank on the final day of the league to defend the State ‘A’ division basketball title for the Prof. N.C. Parappa memorial Trophy, on Monday.
Amit Kumar sank three critical three-pointers in the final quarter of the match as MEG, one point behind Vijaya Bank till that stage, pulled off a sensational 67-63 win.
