B . Division Open Clubs Football League Championship – 2014 being held at CWG Village Sports Complex, Akshardham here on Thursday.
Uttranchal Heroes defeated Shakti FC 3 – 1 to collect three full points. Uttranchal’s Rishab Bhandari opened score 1 – 0 in 11th minute while Karan Singh Rithwik increased lead 2 – 1 in 22nd minute. Vivek Balhva took the tally to 3 – 1 in 24th minute.
Shakti’s Arvinder Hari Kumar reduced margin to 1 – 3.
Earlier, Golden Stars FC scored a 2 – 1 win over New Friends FC. Golden Stars’ Mohd. Karla opened score 1 – 0 in 10th minute. New Friends’ Ram Singh levelled score 1 – 1 in 38th minute. Golden Stars’ Ashley Walter made it 2 – 1 in 43rd minute.
