Chennai: A combined batting effort by the Tiruvullar DCA helped them to a strong position on day one of the TNCA Under-19 Inter district Tournament final here. Aided by half centuries by G. Vignesh (69), S. Parvesh Gautam (66) and M. Anand (52) saw them end their innings on 353 against Salem DCA.
In reply, Salem finished the day on 13 for two.
