Police should have booked the players for their alleged fixing charges and BCCI has no authority to conduct a criminal investigation,\u201d said Azad at a function in the city today.<\/p>\n<p>BCCI last month had suspended five Indian players after a sting operation done by a Television Channel allegedly exposed corruption in the tournament. The matter is under probe and the inquiry commission headed by Ravi Sawani, chief of BCCI`s Anti-Corruption Unit.<\/p>\n<p>The five players who have been banned are TP Sudhindra (Deccan Chargers), Mohnish Mishra (Pune Warriors), Amit Yadav (Kings XI Punjab), Shalabh Srivastava (Kings XI Punjab) and Abhinav Bali (Himachal Pradesh).
