\u201cI think we have demonstrated that we can carry on where we left off last year and fight for points everywhere. The teams around us are all strong, but we have shown our consistency and can compete with tams like Lotus, Williams and Sauber, who are all looking competitive,\u201d said Resta.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile talking about the upcoming Canadian GP, he said that they are ready for the challenge and hope to carry their momentum from the last race to this race. \u201cIt\u2019s quite an unusual track with some long straights and you need good top speed to be competitive. We run a special low-downforce package, similar to the one we use for Monza, so the car feels quite different and a bit loose without all the downforce. It always takes a few laps to get used to things again,\u201d added the Scot.<\/p>\n

Nico Hulkerberg<\/a> echoed his teammates view and said that he was certain that things can only get better for them in the coming times “We’re not too far behind Sauber and Williams after six races and we saw last year how well the team was able to develop so I\u2019m optimistic we can do the same this year,” he said.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Team Principal and co owner Vijay Mallya <\/a>said that they have had bad and good experiences in the Canadian GP but hopefully things would remain only better for them this year. \u201cWe’ve had good and bad times in Montreal in recent years. We were competitive there in 2010, but last year I believe we threw away some certain points.Hopefully we’ll redeem ourselves this year,\u201d said the liquor baron.<\/p>\n
