Delhi Daredevils (DD) pulled up a convincing nine wickets victory over Deccan Chargers (DC) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Deccan coming on to bat put an imposing total of 187 and looked like they would pose some serious challenge to the Daredevils. But then the way they batted they made it look rather easy won the match with more than three overs remaining.\n<\/p>\n

Hits and flops of Delhi Daredevils:<\/strong><\/p>\n Hits<\/strong>:<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n David Warner<\/strong>: After missing out on his first match in the IPL, he made it a point to stamp his authority in the tournament. He batted with murderous instinct yesterday and became the third centurion of the tournament following Ajinkya Rahane of Rajasthan Royals and his teammate Kevin Pietersen. He played with utmost domination and scored 109 of just 54 balls which was laced with 10 fours and seven sixes.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Naman Ojha<\/strong>: He played the second fiddle to Warner. Ojha who did not contribute with the bat much joined the party yesterday along with Warner. He carted the bowlers all over the park and scored 64 of 46 including two fours and five sixes.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Flops:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Irfan Pathan<\/strong>: Being one of the experienced bowlers of the side he should have bowled with much more discipline. But he was wayward and struggled with his line throughout his spell. He leaked 46 runs of four overs.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Hits and flops of Deccan Chargers<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Hits<\/strong>:<\/p>\n Shikhar Dhawan<\/strong>: He is making continuous strides towards the Orange Cap. Dhawan who is the highest run getter for DC this season is on the number fourth position in the list of highest runs getters in IPL V. Yesterday he played a gem of an innings and was at his aggressive best. He scored 84 off 49 balls which included nine fours and five sixes.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Cameron White<\/strong>: He is in great form and yesterday again he played an attacking innings to shoulder the responsibility of DC\u2019s batting. He lent good support to Dhawan and scored 65 of 40 deliveries. His innings was laced with seven fours and two sixes.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Flops<\/strong>:<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Amit Mishra<\/strong>: Being one of the top wicket takers of IPL and the leading spinner of the side, lot was expected from him.
