Chandigarh<\/strong>: When Kings XI Punjab<\/a> take to their home ground, the PCA stadium at Mohali, against Kolkata Knight Riders<\/a> for their Indian Premier League (IPL) match Wednesday, the players will don green-colored caps to spread the message of conserving energy.<\/p>\n

The Kings XI joined ‘One Watt Campaign – Lets save a billion Watts’, a nationwide campaign by leading consumer appliances company Godrej Appliances, launched here Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Launching the initiative, Godrej and Kings XI officials said the team players will wear green caps at Wednesday’s match to support the energy conservation cause.<\/p>\n

The ‘One Watt Project’ vans will tour across the country, covering major metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai, among others, till May 14, a company spokesman said here.<\/p>\n
