The living cricketing legend, Sachin Tendulkar, will, however, continue to be Jaypee Cement\u2019s main Brand ambassador.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement was made by Jaypee Cement\u2019s Executive Vice President, Shiva Dixit, at a glittering function at Jaypee Golf and Spa Resort, Greater Noida today. <\/p>\n<p>There was a time, Shiva Dixit said, when Indian hockey team used to dominate at the international level. But for the past several years India has not been doing too well in international competitions. \u201cWe are sponsoring these three hockey players and hope that they will help India regain its rightful place at the very top of international hockey. I will particularly pray for our hockey team\u2019s success at the forthcoming London Olympics,\u201d Shiva Dixit stressed.<\/p>\n<p>The players, who were present at the press conference, thanked Jaypee Cement for sponsoring them and expressed optimism about Indian team\u2019s prospects at London Olympics.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>Shiva Dixit pointed out that besides sponsoring various sports persons, Jaypee Group has also invested a large amount in developing world class sport infrastructure. Jaypee Sports City, where the Group had organised a hugely successful F1 Grand Prix last October, will also feature 1 lakh-seater cricket stadium, a hockey stadium, tennis courts, golf course and various other sporting facilities.<\/p>\n<p>The Group, Shiva Dixit said, is already running a state-of-the-art sports complex at Jaypee Greens, Greater Noida. This Complex has world class facilities for tennis, squash, badminton, volleyball, billiards, etc. The complex also has an Olympic size swimming pool, large playgrounds for field sports such as soccer, and an 18 hole Greg Norman golf course. Apart from the above eminent sports personalities; Sania Nehwal and V.V.S. Laxman are already the Brand Ambassadors of Jaypee Cement.<\/p>\n<p>IOS Sports &amp; Entertainment (Infinity Optimal Solutions Private Limited), India&#8217;s leading sports &amp; entertainment company, which manages several of India&#8217;s top sports stars outside cricket has facilitated the association between Jaypee Cement and Sandeep, Sardara and Shivendra Singh.<\/p>\n<p>Neerav Tomar, Managing Director &amp; CEO of IOS said \u201cWe are delighted that a brand of the stature of Jaypee Cement has entered into this association with these three fine athletes, who have been key to India once again finding its place at the elite table of international hockey.
