Nagpur: After breaking India\u2019s nine match winning streak, Australia are high on confidence and would be looking to finish the series on a winning note and take the momentum into the T20 series, when they fight it out in the final ODI in Nagpur on Sunday.<\/p>\n
After winning the series, India did make a few changes in the winning combination to give the players warming the bench a go. However, India fell short by 21 runs, shattering their dream for the longest winning streak in the process. Although India lost the 4th<\/sup> ODI, India will still look to experiment a few things for instance the batting order and team\u2019s combination in the match.<\/p>\n Aaron Finch and David Warner have eased Australia\u2019s batting stress as they rose to the occasion in the 4th<\/sup> ODI with Finch scoring 94 and Warner scoring a fabulous century in his 100th<\/sup> ODI, at Bengaluru. Although the openers fired, India did pull things back. Australia did manage to score a good 334 runs which proved to be match-winning in the end. Interestingly, Glenn Maxwell was dropped in the last match and Wade came into the lineup, which meant two wicket-keeper batsmen in the side. The other keeper, Peter Handscomb, did have a great outing in Bengaluru, with him scoring a timely 43 off 30 balls which helped Kangaroos to go past the 300 run mark.<\/p>\n India on the other hand have played all the members of the squad except KL Rahul, who might get a match in the last ODI. Kedar Jadhav\u2019s surprise element with the bowl however has made his selection almost certain but if Rahul gets a game, Jadhav or Manish Pandey (who hasn\u2019t scored a half century in 4 matches in this series) may still have to wait for their next turn. Australia\u2019s bowling has been decent enough and once again it came to the forefront in the death overs. India tried a new bowling combination and the new set of bowlers was also successful in the death overs which suggest that Virat Kohli might stick to the same bowling options.<\/p>\n Australia had their chances in all the matches yet they were able to capitalize on them only in the match against Bengaluru where the batsmen as well as the bowlers proved to be better than both these departments of the opponents.
