Wenger’s name is on the list of possible coaches for Barcelona’s coach, but he has always reiterated that his preference would be to stay at Arsenal, reports Efe.<\/p>\n
Ernesto Valverde, Jorge Sampaoli, Eusebio Sacristan, Laurent Blanc and Ronald Koeman are being named in the media as potential replacements at the club.<\/p>\n
“My preference has always been the same and will remain the same. I am not looking for jobs in other clubs or jobs for other people. I am just focused on me getting to the next level and trying to improve,” Arsenal’s French manager said during a press conference here.<\/p>\n
“I think (to be a) competent manager is to always try to improve and to see what you can do better. To reinvent yourself. That’s what I always try to do. That’s it, basically,” he added, according to the club’s official website.<\/p>\n
The veteran Frenchman, who has been with the Gunners for 20 years, has the offer of a new two-year deal when his contract expires at the end of the season.<\/p>\n
