The World No.11 was locked in a solid battle that went for about two hours to salvage the half point on Sunday.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

He now has a tally of four points with five more rounds to play. Harikrishna, starting with white pieces, took advantage initially but his Chinese opponent defended very well forcing the Indian to a draw.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

“I got into a slightly better position in the beginning. But Wei Yi defended well and with time running out, we had to be content with a draw,” Harikrishna said after the match.<\/p>\n

The Indian star, with a rating of 2770, has won once, drawn six matches and lost one in his campaign so far.<\/p>\n
