Chandigarh: Shaurya Madaan of Panjab University (PU) coaching centre beat Paurush Dhawan of PU coaching centre (21-5, 23-21) in the boys’ under-17 singles, while Ishita of Panjab University (PU) coaching centre got the better of Garima Singh of the same centre in the gilrs’ under-17 category in the Chandigarh State Sub Junior and Junior (U-17) Badminton Championships organized by Chandigarh Badminton Association at the Indoor Hall, Panjab University, which concluded here on Saturday. <\/p>\n
Shaurya Madaan was declared player of the tournament. <\/p>\n
Lalita Sharma, Director, Sports Authority of India was the chief guest of the closing function and prize distribution ceremony.<\/p>\n
