Koh’s confidence comes after another solid performance in Malaysia last week where he finished tied-fifth.<\/p>\n
It was also the Singaporean’s third top-10 finish on the Asian Development Tour (ADT) this season following his tied-second and sixth placing in Manila and Johor Bahru, Malaysia in April.<\/p>\n
“I feel like I’m in good form right now. My game’s heading in the right direction so I really hope the feel-good vibes can translate into a win for me this week,” said the 28-year-old.<\/p>\n
As the ADT reaches its business end of the season, Koh knows the importance of ending the year on a high.<\/p>\n
“I’ve been playing on the ADT since 2013 and I’ve come close to winning on several occasions. I know my time will come and I just have to be patient.<\/p>\n
“But having said that, it’ll be a good confidence booster if I can end the year with a win as that will be a nice reward for all the hard work and sacrifices I’ve put into the game,” said Koh.<\/p>\n
The Ciputra Golfpreneur Tournament presented by Panasonic is the ADT’s first and only stop in Indonesia this season. It will return for its third edition at the BSD course by Damai Indah Golf.<\/p>\n
The local charge will be spearheaded by George Gandranata and Danny Masrin who are currently ranked in 14th and 33rd place on the ADT Order of Merit.<\/p>\n
Malaysia’s Gavin Green, who made his Olympics debut where he finished in 47th place, will be back on familiar grounds, attempting to win his fourth ADT title.<\/p>\n
A third win for the Olympian this season will also earn him playing rights on the Asian Tour for the remainder of the 2016 season.
Thaialnd’s Panuwat Muenlek, also chasing his third ADT victory this season, will feature in the event alongside compatriot Pavit Tangkamolprasert and current merit leader Johannes Veerman of the United States.<\/p>\n
A total of 134 players will compete in the Ciputra Golfpreneur Tournament presented by Panasonic, with the field being split between the ADT and the Professional Golf Tour of Indonesia (PGTI).<\/p>\n
The winner will take home a prize purse of US$17,500 and receive six OWGR points while the top six players and ties will also earn points based on a sliding scale.<\/p>\n
The top-five finishers on the ADT Order of Merit will earn their playing rights on the Asian Tour for 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
