Meanwhile, Anand Pawar beat Eetu Heino of Finland 21-12, 21-16 in the first round singles match, but P. Kashyap and Ajay Jayaram had lost in the first round itself. <\/p>\n

In the women\u2019s singles Gu Juan (Sing) defeated P.V. Sindhu 21-14, 21-15 in the first round while V Diju and Jwala Gutta lost to the pair of Wai Hong Wong and Hoi Wah Chau (HK) 18-21, 21-9, 21-19 in the first round doubles match.
