New Delhi<\/strong>: Last year\u2019s PGTI Order of Merit winner Chiragh Kumar<\/a> is happy to be back at the Delhi Golf Club (DGC) and is hoping to put up a good show at the SBI-Sail Open starting tomorrow here. Chiragh who did not have a very good outing at the last week\u2019s Avantha Masters where he missed the cut is looking comfortable before the tournament and expects this week would change things for him. \u201cI did not perform well in last few tournaments as expected but then coming to DGC I feel much better now. It feels good to be back at the DGC,\u201d said Chiragh.<\/p>\n

Chiragh who missed the cut at the last week\u2019s Avantha Masters<\/a> played at the DLF Golf and Country Club, Gurgaon before coming into the tournament felt that there was slight technical issue with his game and now he settled them all to feel much more relaxed. \u201cBefore coming into this tournament I had issues with my game. My short game was off tune and I tried to compensate with my long game but they resulted in total disaster. But now I have sorted out all the issues. So I am expecting to play a good week of golf,\u201d added Chiragh.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Chiragh who shot to limelight on this same \u00a0very course where he finished second in the Indian Open last year feels that the competition would be tough and as usual the key to win on this course would hitting the fairways as much as possible. \u201cThe field is good and everyone stands a chance to win here. It is very hard to predict a winner here and one can expect a competitive week of golf. It is just a matter of right decision making,\u201d added the 27 year golfer.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Meanwhile another Indian golfer Manav Jaini<\/a> is also excited with the fact that golf is back at the DGC and looking forward to a great week of golf. \u201cDGC is my home course. I love playing here and it gives me a lot of confidence,\u201d said Manav.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Manav who lifted his game in the later part of the Avantha Masters is confident of a good outing but is wary of a strong challenge. \u201cI am confident but every player would pose as a serious threat. And even the condition is windy and that would add to the challenge as well,\u201d added the Delhi golfer.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The SBI-Sail Open<\/a> which is a co-sanctioned event of the PGTI and Asian Tour<\/a> would see a total of 144 golfers teeing off to win the $300,000 tournament.<\/p>\n
