The technical and senior tournament committee of the Indian Cricket Board has decided to bar the Delhi\u2019s Karnal Singh Stadium from hosting matches this session i.e. 2012-13.<\/p>\n<p>Though the Hyderabad Cricket Association was also found guilty of similar charges, it has been let off with serious tip-off warning. The situation strained after the two Ranji Trophy League Matches were played in the mentioned venue and got severe comments from the committee.<\/p>\n<p>The four-day plate league game between Maharashtra and Hyderabad ended in tenure of just two days, where the former emerged victorious by an innings and six runs. The other match between the Saurashtra and Railways finished in three days with the former tasting victory by ninety seven runs. Both the teams were far from touching the two hundred target.<\/p>\n<p>Reportedly, Venkat Sundaram the Chairman to the BCCI ground and pitch committee wrote to secretary Sanjay Jagdale mentioning that the Railways have played foul and deliberately prepared a half-baked and under prepared surface. Hence the BCCI has already deducted two points from the host association\u2019s tally for the season, should it be found guilty of doing the same.<\/p>\n<p>The Board also took further decisions. It has re-scheduled the domestic cricket season this year. The season will kick start with the Challenger Series instead of the Irani Trophy.
