According to a news report in the <strong>Indian Express,<\/strong> the player has filed a police complaint against national team captain Sardar Singh alleging sexual harassment. The 21-year-old player has filed a written complaint with the Ludhiana police.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The woman claimed she has been engaged to Sardar for the past four years and alleged that he &lsquo;mentally, physically and emotionally tortured&rsquo; her. She also alleged that Sardar forced her to abort their child in 2015 against her wishes and later refused to marry her,&rdquo; says the report. <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, a report in <strong>HT<\/strong> says that the woman approached Ludhiana police commissioner Paramraj Singh Umranangal accusing Singh of also forcing her to abort a pregnancy and then cutting of ties with her.<\/p>\n<p>An inquiry has been marked at the Koom Kalan police station in Bhaini Sahib but no FIR has been registered yet. Sub-inspector Surjit Singh Nagra, station house officer of Koom Kalan, said the police would register a case &ldquo;after verifying the facts&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p>Singh, who is also a deputy superintendent of police in his native state Haryana, was unavailable for a comment.<br \/>Hailing from Leeds, the woman claimed the pair had met during the London Olympics in 2012 and began dating soon after. She further claimed to have visited Singh&rsquo;s native village Sant Nagar in Sirsa last year aside from accompanying him during the team&rsquo;s European tour the same year.<\/p>\n<p>A report in the <strong>Asian Age<\/strong> quotes her saying, &ldquo;I met him during the London Olympics and we got to know each other better after that. We got engaged but in 2015 I got pregnant.
