R Ashwin, who came to give company to Rahane after the fall of Ravindra Jadeja (24), was batting on 6 when the play was called off a bit early due to bad light.<\/p>\n<p>For South Africa spinner Dane Piedt (4\/101 in 34 overs), playing his first Test of the series, and pacer Kyle Abott (3\/23 in 17 overs), were the main wicket takers.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Rahane kept his cool even as India&rsquo;s top order once again failed, with Rohit Sharma (1) being the biggest disappointment.
