He shot a brilliant final of 24\/25 in the 55th National Shooting Championship here on Saturday. In the qualifying round, he tied with Anwer Sultan of\u00a0 U.P. at 116\/125 for first place but beat Anwer with a margin of 5 points in the finals.<\/p>\n<p>Anwer Sultan tied for 2nd place after Finals with Manavjit Singh, as total of both the shooters was 135\/150. In tie shoot, Anwer Sultan won on the first shot as Manavjit Singh missed the very first birds.<\/p>\n<p>G Sharan of Karnatka won the Gold Medal in Junior Men\u2019s category. He shot 105\/125 followed by Adhiraj Singh Rathore (101) and Manavaditya Rathore (99), who won silver and bronze respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the first selection trial to select the shooters for Olympic Games will start on 6th February 2012 at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range.
