I have always been associated with sports since my school days &#8212; from 6th or 7th std to be more precise. It was those P.T. periods that I use to wait for. There was always such great excitement for sports days and other events happening at school. It was in the 11th Std that was made the sports&rsquo; captain of the school which was like dream coming true. I have played Baseball Nationals at junior level. Those national camps and tours were learning experiences in my life which helped me grow as an individual.<\/p>\n<p>It was the college level which actually made me understand the importance of sports in life. University camps and inter-college tournaments played an important role in my life. They not only gave me precious memories but also new friends and new lessons for life. It were not just the practice sessions that made me realize the importance of team work and togetherness but also the off-field interaction and fun with the team mates. Memories of lying on the ground for hours after the practices are still so fresh in my mind.
