This mound, which has a diameter of 18 feet, must be 10-and-a-half inches above the height of home plate. Home plate is 60 feet, 6 inches away.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Ball<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The baseball is around 9&nbsp;inches (23 centimeters) in circumference.
