New Delhi: When a Saturday practice match 3-2 win becomes the topic of discussion for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his B-town friends, you know that the Senior Women\u2019s National Team has received the perfect \u2018kick\u2019 for their Asian Games campaign.

A day after the India Women\u2019s Team \u2013 currently rehearsing for the Incheon Games at the Cooperage Stadium in Mumbai \u2013 played their practice match which they won against U-17 and U-19 Boys of Football Leaders Academy 3-2, a charity football game was organised by Aamir Khan\u2019s daughter Ira involving a host of other Bollywood celebrities at the Cooperage Ground on Sunday.

\u201cWe were invited by WIFA (Western Indian Football Association),\u201d Head Coach Tarun Roy informed.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe girls had a wonderful time and the Bollywood stars were very generous too. We were showed a lot of respect,\u201d Coach Roy added.<\/p>\n
Goalkeeping Coach Chitra Gangadharan added that it was actor Abhishek Bachchan\u2019s gesture that impressed them the most.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe walked up to us after their match and asked us to introduce ourselves. He later invited us on the podium and introduced us to the crowd as the National Team preparing for the Asian Games. It was so nice of him.\n<\/p>\n
\u201cIndeed it was a proud moment for us and we surely need such icons to promote women\u2019s football in the country,\u201d added the former India Captain.<\/p>\n
Aamir\u2019s team won 4-2 against Abhishek\u2019s boys in the match played for an NGO that supports stray animals.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am a big Abhishek fan,\u201d quipped midfielder Swati Rawat.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was so sweet too. He led us to the stage and introduced us to the crowd. The way he said \u2018this is the National Team preparing for Asian Games\u2019 was so full of warmth. I loved it,\u201d added the Delhi girl.

\u201cI love Hrithik (Roshan). So his presence made my day. The stars were so nice with us. We told them about our match yesterday and they even enquired about our preparations and wished us luck. It was really motivating,\u201d India captain Tuli Goon told www.the-aiff.com.<\/p>\n
\u201cSalman\u2019s interest for football is well known. It was good to see him take out time from his busy schedule and speak to us,\u201d iconic female footballer Bembem Devi reflected.

\u201cFew of our girls are big fans of Salman and are eagerly waiting for his Eid release.\u201d<\/p>\n
The girls clicked pictures with the stars apart from watching the game. \u201cWe asked them how much would you rate say a Abhishek Bachchan and they would say 12 out of 10 even he if stood standstill. They were so mesmerized,\u201d shared Roy.

A day before the gala Sunday rendezvous with film stars, the Women\u2019s Team rallied to a 3-2 win over U-17 and U-19 boys with midfielders Kamala Devi, Sasmita Malik and forward Parmeshwori Devi getting on the scoresheet either side of halftime after falling behind in the first half.

\u201cIt\u2019s always good to get some match practice on weekends and translate the drills in the practice sessions,\u201d Roy maintained.<\/p>\n
