{"id":19442,"date":"2014-01-24T06:31:04","date_gmt":"2014-01-24T06:31:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/indiansportsnews.co.in\/?p=19442"},"modified":"2014-01-24T06:31:04","modified_gmt":"2014-01-24T06:31:04","slug":"brazilian-president-dilma-rousseff-shows-strong-support-for-rio-2016-games-at-meeting-with-ioc-president","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indiansportsnews.co.in\/?p=19442","title":{"rendered":"Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff shows strong support for Rio 2016 Games at meeting with IOC President"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">The Brazilian Government underscored its strong commitment to the successful delivery of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games during a meeting today between International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach and Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff at the Pal\u00e1cio do Planalto in Brasilia.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">President Rousseff received an update on the state of preparations for the Games during the meeting and outlined a number of measures to support Games preparations.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">President Bach said: \u201cThis was a very positive meeting and the President offered her strong commitment to the project. The Organising Committee has been making good progress in the past few months, so I came to this meeting with confidence, and with the committed leadership of President Rousseff herself I am more confident than ever.
