Malaysia’s top two squash players Ong Beng Hee and Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan will contest the dream Royal Lake Club Open final after prevailing in today’s contrasting semi-finals of the PSA World Tour Challenger 15 event in its second year at the Royal Lake Club in the country’s capital Kuala Lumpur.<\/p>\n
Top seed Beng Hee stormed to an 11-6, 11-8, 11-6 victory in just 37 minutes over Pakistan’s No4 seed Aamir Atlas Khan.<\/p>\n
The triumph takes the 33-year-old world No23 from Penang through to the 23rd Tour final of his career – but his first on home soil since winning the Malaysian Open in July 2008.<\/p>\n
The other semi was an all-Malaysian affair in which the country’s number three Ivan Yuen stretched Adnan for 73 minutes before the second seed eventually closed out the match 10-12, 11-7, 11-7, 11-8 to secure his anticipated place in the final.\n<\/p>\n
The win takes 27-year-old Adnan into the 17th Tour final of his career – and his 11th on home soil.<\/p>\n
