\"ShwetaBengaluru: Rookie Shweta Galande played a stable round today, carding a total of 132 (66,66) after 36 holes, leading the penultimate round of the 9th Leg of Hero Women\u2019s Professional Golf Tour 2013. Overnight leader and veteran Delhi golfer Smriti Mehra failed to firm up her lead as she slipped to the tied third position with Hero MotoCorp sponsored local golfer Sharmila Nicollet. Local amateur golfer Aditi Ashok who trails Shweta by six shots is placed second after 36 holes. The INR 6,00,000 event is being played at the par-70, Clover Greens golf course situated on the outskirts of Bengaluru just across the border in Tamil Nadu from August 27th\u2013 29th of this month.
 <\/span><\/p>\n

Shweta\u2019s round today consisted of two bogeys on the 6th and 13th holes and six birdies on the 9th, 10th, 12th, 15th, 17th and 18th holes. City Golfer Aditi Ashok (A) with a total score of 138 (68,70) is placed second after the second round. Her round consisted of four bogeys on the 4th, 5th, 14th and 16th holes. She got four birdies on the 3rd, 7th, 12t and 17th holes.

Overnight leader Smriti Mehra (64, 75) failed to capitalize on her lead from the first round, to be placed at the tied third position with Bengaluru golfer Sharmila Nicollet (70, 69) with identical total scores of 139 after 36 holes. Smriti had a disastrous round with one double bogey on the 2nd hole followed by four bogeys on the 3rd, 6th, 10th and 15th holes. Her only respite was a lone birdie on the 12th hole. Local golfer Sharmila Nicolett who is back in action after nursing an ankle injury played a consistent round with birdies on the 2nd, 11th and 12th holes and two bogeys on the 4th and 18th holes.

Delhi golfer Vani Kapoor with a total score of 140 (73, 67) after the second round is placed fifth while Saaniya Sharma from Chandigarh is placed sixth with a total score of 142 (75, 67) after the second round.

The Hero Women\u2019s Professional Golf Tour 2013 comprises a total of fourteen legs spanning across key locations in India.
