New Delhi: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) held its Executive Committee Meeting here on Thursday (August 1, 2013) at Football House in New Delhi. IMG-Reliance, the Marketing Partner of AIFF presented a detailed progress plan on the new Tournament as part one of the agenda of the Meeting.<\/p>\n
In its presentation, IMG-Reliance shared their new Tournament\u2019s objectives, structure and implementation. Furthermore, details of the Franchise Auction including guidelines, obligations and building process were shared with the Committee. IMG-Reliance also gave an update on the Player\u2019s signed, venue booking for the Tournament and their plans on Stadium refurbishment.<\/p>\n
The AIFF Executive Committee Meeting chaired by AIFF President Praful Patel unanimously expressed satisfaction over the progress made on the proposed new Tournament and called for all stakeholders to work together in strengthening Indian Football.\n<\/p>\n
IMG-Reliance plans for development of Indian Football is impressive as it just not concentrates on a single Tournament but in the creation of a platform which would popularize the game across all levels in India. AIFF fully supports IMG-Reliance in their endeavour and are confident about their plans and progress so far.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, IMG-Reliance also confirmed to the Executive Committee that a detailed Promotional Plan for the 2013-14 I-League will be communicated to AIFF which can be shared with the Clubs.<\/p>\n
