Race drivers Giedo van der Garde and Charles Pic are then planned to take over driving duties on day three to take advantage of the chance to run on the Pirelli tyres due to be tested at Silverstone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Silverstone Young Driver Test is a chance for Alexander Rossi to continue to build his 2013 F1 experience after the successful FP1 session he ran in Canada in early June and will be the first time Will Stevens, currently fourth in the Formula Renault 3.5 championship standings, will drive an F1 car.<\/p>\n<p>Alexander Rossi: \u201cSilverstone will be the second time this year I\u2019ve driven the 2013 F1 car and it\u2019ll be good to be back in the cockpit on a track I know very well. We have a busy workload ahead of us and I\u2019m pleased I can both add this as another step in my development as an F1 driver, and help the team continue the push for the second half of the F1 season.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Will Stevens: \u201cSince the announcement was made about me joining the Caterham Racing Academy I\u2019ve settled in quickly with the F1 team and they\u2019ve made every effort to help me prepare fully for my first run in a F1 car on day two of the test.
