Chennai Super Kings overpowered Mumbai Indians as they beat them by 48 runs at Feroz Shah Kotla to reach the final of IPL 6. Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo were absolutely sensational with the ball as they helped to bundle out the Mumbai batsmen for just 144 runs in 18.4 overs. Earlier it was the firepower of Suresh Raina, clubbed with the class of Mike Hussey which allowed CSK to post a total of 192 runs in their 20 overs.<\/p>\n

HITS Mike Hussey:<\/strong> Mike Hussey once again anchored the CSK\u2019s innings really well which put them under control. He scored 86 runs off just 58 balls with the help of 10 fours and two sixes. He was awarded Man-of-the-Match for his classy innings which steered his side to the road of victory.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Suresh Raina:<\/strong> Raina was absolutely magnificent as he scored 82 runs off just 42 balls. He smashed five fours and five sixes in his knock which allowed CSK to post a humungous total of 192 runs in their 20 overs.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dwayne Smith:<\/strong> Smith was absolutely brilliant with the bat as he smashed 66 runs off just 28 balls. It was looking that he might take away the match from CSK but Ravindra Jadeja got him out, but not before he smoked away six fours and five sixes.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ravindra Jadeja:<\/strong> Jadeja brought a sense of relief for MS Dhoni as he bagged three big wickets at regular intervals which just took his side to the victory. Dwayne Bravo:<\/strong> Bravo wrapped up the Mumbai innings by picking up three wickets in his three overs and gave away just nine runs. He used short of a length delivery for all three tail-enders to send them back to pavilion.<\/p>\n

Rohit Sharma:<\/strong> Sharma failed to stabilise the innings and got himself under huge pressure. He departed after scoring eight runs off 15 balls. Apart from that, his lack of judgement in captaincy was quite visible as he was looking puzzled while giving overs to his bowlers.<\/p>\n
Dinesh Karthik:<\/strong> Karthik failed to do anything as he kept playing dot balls instead of going for big-shots after Dwayne Smith got out. His inability to shift the gear put a lot of pressure on Mumbai and as a result their wickets started falling at regular intervals.<\/p>\n
Lasith Malinga:<\/strong> Malinga kept bowling the mixture of some beautiful and awful balls in his every over which cost him 45 runs. He was toyed by the class of Mike Hussey who kept on innovating and gave him the charge. He did bowl some brilliant Yorkers but once he changed his length, Raina ensured it\u2019s time for the ball to race towards the boundary.<\/p>\n
Mitchell Johnson<\/strong>: Johnson never looked under so much of pressure in the entire IPL as he was looking against the pair of southpaws. He conceded four fours and one six in his spell of four overs.<\/span><\/p>\n
Munaf Patel:<\/strong> He gave away 32 runs in his three overs and conceded five fours in his three overs. He somehow made no difference for Mumbai with the ball. He was expected to deliver on the important occasion but miserably failed to do so.<\/span><\/p>\n
