He made it quite clear that it was his decision to impose a gag order on Indian Captain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>BCCI Chief was quoted by <strong>Hindustan Times<\/strong>, &#8220;Yesterday\u2019s conference was meant for Champions Trophy and not for the Indian premier League. So there wasn&#8217;t any point in answering the questions related to spot-fixing and betting which are solely related to IPL.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He went on to add, \u201cMedia was looking to make it spicy by getting some reaction from MS Dhoni which he didn\u2019t gave to them. Conference was meant to make good will with media. They can always express themselves but need to be in the guidelines advised by BCCI.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Srinivasan was quoted by <strong>Times of India<\/strong> saying, \u201cIt\u2019s an individual choice to remain silent or to speak, we haven\u2019t curbed right to speech of anyone.
