This reaction came in a day after Sanjay Jagdale, former BCCI Secretary, announced that he is not in any mood to link up with BCCI from here on.<\/p>\n
He was quoted saying by Hindustan Times<\/strong>, \u201cWe have been asked by the working committee of BCCI to resume our work but we are not interested to work with BCCI. Working committee asked us to give our comeback some kind of thought but we have scratched that idea.\u201d The duo resigned from their respective posts on Friday in the wake of the spot-fixing and betting scandal that rocked Indian cricket.<\/p>\n Jagdale was quoted by Indian Express<\/strong> saying, “They were unanimous in asking us (Shirke) to take back the resignation, but I feel bad that I cannot respond in a positive manner,”<\/p>\n The pressure that was created on BCCI Chief, N Srinivasan by the couple of resignations forced him to take a \u201cfair\u201d call on getting to step aside from his post on Sunday.
