Mohali: It was a David Miller mayhem at PCA Stadium Mohali on Monday as he decimated the RCB bolwers all over the park to score a scintillating hundred of just 38 balls and helped Kings XI Punjab register an astonishing win over Royal Challengers Bangalore by six wickets and 12 balls to spare.<\/p>\n
Talking after the post-match presentation, Miller, who got the man-of-the-match award, said that since it was a big total, he and R Satish decided to go after the bowlers. “It was a big total to get. Sathish and I decided to get in and then explode. Sathish is experienced. He did a great job in the end,\u201d said Miller.<\/p>\n
On being asked about his father’s advice to him, Miller said his father told him that, \u201cIf it’s in the V, in the tree; if it’s in the arc, it’s out of the park.\u201d

Meanwhile quite happy with the scintillating win, Kings XI Punjab skipper David Hussey said that Miller is a Kings XI player for life. “I am very pleased with this effort. What an innings. We bowled really well. And about an innings like that, what can you say?\u201d said Hussey, adding that his team never lose hope.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have been fighting till the end. The total was a bit over-par, but when you have batters like David Miller and Sathish at the end, anything is possible. It seems unreal when you sit down and watch it. He is a Kings XI Punjab player for life,” said Hussey.<\/p>\n
RCB captain Virat Kohli too was in all praise for Miller and said that it was one of the best innings anyone has ever seen in IPL. \u201cOne of the best innings anyone has ever seen in the IPL. But a few good efforts in the field could have changed it for us. 190 was a par total. We should have taken the chances in the field. One of those days when things do not go your way. You concentrate hard when you go for catches, but sometimes they don’t stick. Credit to David too. It was an incredible innings,” said Kohli.<\/p>\n
