K.K Sharma, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, U.T., Chandigarh presided over felicitation function and gave away the awards to the tune of Rs. 43,48,000\/- to the sportspersons, who have brought laurels to the city beautiful at National level tournaments \/ championships in the discipline of Archery, Athletic, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Football, Golf, Gymnastic, Hockey, Handball, Judo, lawn Tennis, Rifle Shooting, Rowing, Sailing \/ Yachting, Skating, Softball, Swimming, Taekwondo, Table Tennis &amp; Weightlifting.\n<\/p>\n<p>The award was conferred to first three position holders of National Championships, National School Games and Inter-university competitions.<\/p>\n<p>V.K Singh, Secretary Finance &amp; Sports was also present. The distinguished Guest consisted of Wg. Cdr. Satish Bhatia, Shri Chandershekher, Ex DGP President, Chandigarh Hockey Association, Brig. K.S Chandpuri, President, Chandigarh Athletic Association &amp; Sh.
