Mumbai: Egyptian teenager Mazen Hesham Ga Sabry today picked up his second PSA World Tour title in little more than a month – both against expectations – when he upset second-seeded compatriot Mohd Ali Anwar Reda in the final of the CCI PSA Squash Challenger 15, the inaugural PSA Challenger 15 event at the Cricket Club of India in Mumbai.<\/p>\n
Just 24 hours after toppling the top seed Alan Clyne, the world No31 from Scotland, 19-year-old Ga Sabry repeated his giant-killing exploits against the No2 seed Reda, despatching the world No47 11-6, 11-9, 11-9.\n<\/p>\n
“It was an astonishing performance by the young Egyptian squash star,” said tournament organiser Mahesh Mangaonkar. “What lovely nicks, lobs, deception. This guy is just unbelievable!”<\/p>\n
The success marks the 19-year-old world No62 from Cairo’s fourth career PSA Tour title, and his second since March when, unseeded, Ga Sabry took the West of Ireland Open crown in Galway.<\/p>\n
