Scheduled to be held on Sunday, February 17, 2013 after a flag-off from the iconic India Gate at 07.30 a.m., the marathon will run through some of the capital city\u2019s important landmarks before it winds its way back to the India Gate for the finish.<br \/>&nbsp;. <br \/>The Mawana Sugars Indian Open Marathon 2013 in association with USHA International is held under the aegis of the Athletic Federation of India (AFI) and is the longest running marathon in the Capital. At this point, only Indian runners may participate.<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>The marathon is a non-commercial run organized purely for promoting the spirit of sports, an attitude towards playing irrespective of age and gender, all for a healthful, cheerful and wholesome life.
