He was the one who tormented the India bowling attack when the two teams met last time Down Under and now leading the Aussies, Clarke is all set to tame the lions in their own den in the four-match Test series beginning in Chennai from February 22.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the series, Clarke said that it&#8217;s always exciting for him to come to India as he had always enjoyed playing here. \u201cPeople of India love the game. For me India is all more special as I began my Test career here. I have many fond memories and now it&#8217;s more special to come back as a captain,\u201d said Clarke, adding that because of the IPL the comfort level of the players has certainly changed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlayers now know what the conditions are like when they come to India. The IPL has also been fantastic in that it has built relationships between players all around the world,\u201d said the Aussie skipper, showing some surprise on the omission of Gautam Gambhir from the team.<br \/>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was a bit surprised by his omission from the Test team. He is a fantastic player and I think some of our bowlers must be happy that he is not playing. If he scores runs, I&#8217;m sure he will get his chance with the Indian team again,\u201d said Clarke.<\/p>\n<p>Talking about his own career, he said that it&#8217;s been up and down. \u201cI guess I have had some good times, when the team has had a lot of success and I have scored some runs. I have had some tough times as well when I have been dropped from the Test team.
