Ravichandran Ashwin is very excited after his performance against Australia on the first day of the first Test in Chennai. He was very pleased with the way ball has come out of his hand and was also bit disappointed with the Clarke\u2019s decision not getting in his favour. <\/p>\n
According to a report in Deccan Chronicle<\/strong>, Ashwin said that India could have knocked down the Aussies at a much lower score if the decision of Clarke would have gone in our favour. \u201cIt was very much clear to me that ball had hit the bat first and then the pad but Umpire wasn\u2019t much interested in our appeal and Clarke escaped and went on to make a century. If we would have got him out at that very moment then for sure we would have wrapped up the Australian innings within the first day and Aussies would have fallen short of good 70 odd runs. But for tomorrow, we would love to bundle up their innings in first half and hour of play so that our batsman get good number of overs to bat on.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile according to a report in the Times Of India<\/strong>, Ashwin admitted that he thought of matching Anil Kumble\u2019s feat by getting 10 wicket haul in Tests. \u201cI\u2019d be lying if I said no!
