Australian team is having a tough time on Indian wicket and they desperately need someone who can anchor their Innings and take them to a match winning position and it looks they have found one in Matthew Wade. Wade is ready to fill the void that has been created after Michael Hussey retired two months back. Australia need to make a dramatic comeback to counter a clean-sweep in the on-going Border-Gavaskar Trophy.\n<\/p>\n
As per the recent reports of Deccan Chronicle, Wade said that, \u201cWe are working hard on our fundamentals to do a bounce back in the remaining two tests. India surely has an edge after winning the first two tests quite convincingly.\u201d<\/p>\n
He went on to add that, \u201cWe need to win the remaining two Tests and that is possible by winning more sessions than India and we are focusing on that only. Indians also followed the similar approach in the first two Tests and that\u2019s why they came out on top.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to Times of India, Wade said \u201cDhoni came out with the flying colours to turn the tables for his team in the first Test (and scored 224) and they\u2019ve probably run with that momentum now.\u201d<\/p>\n
He went on to add, \u201cWe need to make mark not just from bat but also with the ball then only we stand a chance to draw this series and for that I am all set to play the role of Michael Hussey if I will be given opportunities on regular basis.<\/p>\n
According to the reports in DNA, Wade was quoted saying \u201cI feel comfortable batting at six, adding it all comes down to team balance, and if they play another specialist batsman, then he would go to seven, but admitted he feels completely fresh when he go out and bat at six, as he does when he bats at seven.\u201d<\/p>\n
