Delhi, March 9, 2013: India\u2019s Neha Tripathi and Thailand\u2019s Pennapa Pulsawath lead after the first round of Business Today Pro Am of Champions with scores of three under 69. The 18th edition of the Business Today Pro Am of Champions got underway today at the Classic Golf Resort in Manesar and it features 20 top women professional golfers from India and Asia along with some of India\u2019s best corporate golfers.<\/p>\n

Tiranan carded four birdies to finish at par 72 and Amolkan, with five birdies finished at one over 73.<\/p>\n India\u2019s Vani Kapoor and Brunei\u2019s Valarie Tan were joint fifth after the first round with identical scores of two over 74. Veteran Indian golfer Smriti Mehra, fresh from her win at the fourth leg of the Women\u2019s pro golf tour 2013 struggled on a hot day and ended the day at eighth position with a score of four over 76.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

Neha Tripathi, who has been in excellent form this season continued her good run to lead on day one along with Thai golfer Pennapa Pulsawath. Neha, winner of the first leg of the Women\u2019s Pro golf tour 2013, got off to a good start and carded birdies on the third, fourth, 10th, 13th and 14th to finish round one at 3 under 69. She had two bogeys on the 16th and 17th holes . Meanwhile, Thai golfer Pennapa Pulsawath gave Neha a tight contest as both the golfers stayed neck and neck throughout the day.
