Ishant Sharma bowled a brilliant spell with the new ball and took both the wickets that fell.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the day, England captain Alastair Cook won the toss and decided to bat first on a pitch that was covered with cracks before the start. England had two changes in their squad with Steven Finn and Samit Patel being replaced by Tim Bresnan and Joe Root.<\/p>\n<p>India too had two changes, with Zaheer Khan and Yuvraj Singh missing out their places to Piyush Chawla and Ravindra Jadeja.<\/p>\n<p>Cook and Nick Compton have done well as an opening pair in the series but they failed in this match. Compton (3*) was the first man to get out when he edged a rising delivery from Sharma and Dhoni completed an easy catch.
