Energetic Chandril beat Delhi\u2019s Rubal Shandilaya by 6-1,6-2 in a marathon first round match in the men\u2019s singles, where as Eeshita was at her best in disposing off J. Thasoorika Thavagna from Shri Lanka by 4-0,4-0 in straight sets.<\/p>\n

Home state\u2019s Saneesh M. Mishra beat his state-mate Praful Upadhaya 4-6,6-1,6-3, where as in the women\u2019s single\u2019s Delhi\u2019s Shehnaz Singh beat Maharashtra\u2019s Anaisha Patch by 4-1,4-0. Gaurav Bhatia of Delhi struggled a bit to beat Amritanjay Kuamr by 6-1,6-3. <\/p>\n

The women section matches too witnessed one sided encounters, except Six seed Surya Tejaswini form Andra Pradesh staging some fine display as she bounced back superbly to beat UP\u2019s Shaheen Ahmed 4-1,4-0 in a first round match. <\/p>\n
