There are six players of that team who are in Singapore for the International Friendly. We need to stop them,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Avramovic spoke at the pre-match Press Conference held at the Singapore Football Association which was also attended by Indian National Coach Wim Koevermans, Indian Captain Sunil Chhetri and Singapore\u2019s Captain Baihakki Khaizan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMost importantly, we need to stop that guy,\u201d Avramovic pointed to Chhetri. \u201cWe can\u2019t afford to give him space.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis match stays important for us as we will be using this as a platform to prepare for the Suzuki Cup,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s nice to get to play a match on a FIFA date. We look to improve ourselves and are looking forward to a good match. It will be a difficult one,\u201d Koevermans opined. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have had a look at Singapore in a video session. They have the home advantage. But we play every game intending to win it and we will want to win this too. But as I said, it\u2019s not easy,\u201d Koevermans maintained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to come here and play. Our last Tournament was a memorable one. But that\u2019s past. Now it\u2019s up to us to take up the challenge,\u201d Captain Chhetri quipped. <\/p>\n<p>His rival compatriot Baihakki Khaizan opined: \u201cWe are looking forward to the game. We are ready for it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Koevermans lauded the spirit in the team. \u201cOur main aim stays to qualify for the 2015 Asian Cup. We need to move ahead,\u201d he commented. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are moving in the right direction. We should take it step by step and aim to reach among the top 10 in Asia and move on from there.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a certain plan laid down by All India Football Federation and we have Great Coach in Wim. Obviously, being the top 10 in Asia is not easy but it\u2019s achievable and I\u2019m optimistic,\u201d Chhetri who plays for Sporting Lisbon in Portugal, said.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>There are quite a few Naturalised players who have donned the Singapore National Team colours. \u201cThere are people from all Nationalities staying in Singapore. They are locals who are citizens of Singapore,\u201d Avramovic informed.
