Prerna Bhambri recently won the Gulbarga Open and was the favorite to win the contest against the unseeded Thai player.<\/p>\n

Prerna played some impressive ground strokes to gain the lead in the first set but Varunya fought back and the unforced errors kept creeping up from Prerna’s racquet. Varunya won the first set 7-5.<\/p>\n

In the second set the Thai player broke Prerna\u2019s serve twice to win the contest.<\/p>\n
